Ashley Bondurant: Web 2.0 Tool

There are many Web 2.0 tools out there, including those for education. Just a quick Google search of Web 2.0 tools for education opens up a large amount of options for improving classroom presentation and student engagement. The reason for this page was to explore a particular Web 2.0 tool a little further. The tool I chose was called Animaker. This tool allows animations to be added to several different formats including what they call "vertical," which is like a powerpoint that is vertical. The other options include videos, posters and magazine covers. They even have a resume option that is a lot of like powerpoint, but a web based version. I liked the different characters that you could use with this tool and it was easy to assemble. If I were to still use this though, it does cost after a free trial. In order to export, you also need to pay. I was able to export to my YouTube Channel though, which is the link provided. I created a short "vertical," video with animations to show Student and Teacher perceptions during school days.
